June 27th, 2022The Aircom SIM 200 simulator bearing the serial number 001 was transferred by the École nationale d'aérotechnique to the QAM as part of a major donation of avionics equipment that had become obsolete for teaching. |
September 4th, 2024The project to restore the simulator to working condition is proposed to students in the “Avionics” group of the École nationale d'aérotechnique. This is very well received and work will therefore begin this session. |

November 2024After several weeks of work, student Calvin Alves succeeded in operating the autopilot system of the SIM200 educational model. It now remains to check the operation of the various simulation circuits such as the VOR, the ILS, the DME or the wind. |
