Restoration Chronology

The Aircom SIM 200 simulator bearing the serial number 001 was transferred by the École nationale d'aérotechnique to the QAM as part of a major donation of avionics equipment that had become obsolete for teaching.

The project to restore the simulator to working condition is proposed to students in the “Avionics” group of the École nationale d'aérotechnique. This is very well received and work will therefore begin this session.
